The Azubuike African American Council for the Arts ‘Ubuntu’ Restorative Practices Project is a three-phase program designed to educate and equip members of the African American community, church groups, and local nonprofit organizations to employ ‘Restorative Practices’ in our community.
The goal of the Azubuike ’Ubuntu’ Restorative Practices Project is to begin the process of building a more equitable and inclusive society for present and future Quad Cities generations.

Phase 1 - Awareness Campaign creates public awareness of Restorative Practices, Restorative Justice, and Restorative Economics.

Phase 2 -Gathers information from key organizations, using interviews and surveys, to determine the greatest need for coordinated community intervention.

Phase Three - Is a community-wide implementation of restorative practices, focusing on the general public and how it accesses and interacts with stakeholder organizations.
