Azubuike's "Coloring Between the Lines" art program provides a creative channel that allows kids to express themselves constructively through art. The act of producing art has a powerful healing impact on children who are not always able to put what they experience into words. Through art, children can more easily express their thoughts and feelings. Art is a form of communication and self-expression that is powerful enough to give the Artist a distinct voice through its unique visual language.

 

Throughout the year, the Azubuike Art Programs offer an incredible variety of art and crafts projects. Students develop artistic skills by using a combination of direct observation and imagination while exploring line, color, shape, perspective, and composition. Strong emphasis is placed on finding and developing a personal style.
