Azubuike: Celebrating
10 Years of Vision, Impact, and Transformative Change.

Azubuike African American Council for the Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Davenport, Iowa, introduces Black culture to youth through art, music, theater, cinema, literature, and history. Founded in 2014, Azubuike’s mission is to bridge racial divides by giving at-risk youth a voice for expression and fostering discussions on race relations in the Quad Cities. Through key programs like the Urban Exposure Independent Film Project, Coloring Between the Lines Kids Art Program, and the Pulling Focus African American Film Festival, Azubuike empowers youth, enriches cultural understanding, and promotes the significance of Black history.
